Dogpatch WineWorks is housed in a unique loft-like environment, originally constructed for a post-war canning factory where original details and architecture have been preserved. In the prime location of the Dogpatch District, Dogpatch WineWorks joins a number of creative new artisan shops and dining establishments. The Dogpatch WineWorks space, with its high ceilings and flexible floor plan, has already hosted a number of private events from intimate dinners to corporate functions, and aims to become a venue of choice for event planners, brides and others hosting special occasions. Our venue rates are based on the space needed and range from $500.00 - $5,000.00 thus making it affordable for all.
The existing licensing at Dogpatch WineWorks only permits the service of beer and wine. No hard alcohol is permitted under any circumstances. As Dogpatch WineWorks is a collective tasting room, clients may choose from our internal wine list for event needs. We allow champagne, sparkling wine and beer upon request, however no outside still wines may be served. We require a Tasting Room staff member to pour wine at events. Each server is billed at $30 an hour in addition to the venue fee.
Dogpatch WineWorks requires a 50% deposit to hold an event date with balance required 14 days before the event date. A separate $500 security deposit may be held by credit card at the time of booking. The security deposit may be held if a client does not complete proper breakdown after an event or there has been damage to the facility, equipment or furniture. Our cleaning fee is $100.00 per event day.
It is recommended that parties above fifty people hire private security. This can be arranged by our in-house event planner for an additional fee.
If an event is cancelled, the client forfeits the entire fee unless the venue is re-rented for the same day, in which case the fee will be refunded with Dogpatch WineWorks retaining a $500 administrative fee.
Dogpatch WineWorks has a flexible floorplan that can accommodate small groups to large parties or gatherings. Our capacity is 350 for a standing reception and 200 for a seated event.
Events must end due to noise ordinances by 12:00 AM and noise levels reduced at 11:00 PM. As we are a working winery and tasting room, early or late night equipment deliveries may be approved on a case by case basis. Dogpatch WineWorks accepts no responsibility for storage. Additional management fees may apply.
Rental rates include the use of existing lighting, SONOS sound system, plasma television, 14ft long custom bar, brushed stainless steel high boy tables (10) and barstools (20), two 9 foot brown leather chesterfield style couches and occasional table. Our space features a food prep area equipped with a catering sink and two stainless prep tables. A small reach-in refrigerator is available.
Dogpatch WineWorks is a "carry-in/carry-out" facility. All garbage and recyclables are the resposibility of the creator. Disposal can be arranged for a small additional fee.
